Jegy’s journey began as a heartfelt tribute to a remarkable individual. Named after Jegeeshan, a young man known for his wit, nobility, and unyielding optimism despite battling Duchenne muscular dystrophy, Jegy embodies the joy and resilience he brought into the world. Affectionately known as Jegi, his indomitable spirit and infectious laughter inspired us to create something exceptional.
Driven by Jegi’s legacy, we developed Jegy cutlery – a blend of “Jegi” and “Joy” that captures the essence of his uplifting spirit. We made Jegy cutlery to be the change we want to see in the world. One thing we learned from our friend is if you don’t break the cycle the cycle will break you.

Our products are made from a sustainable and natural mix of grains.
In cold and frozen foods, Jegy cutlery holds its shape for 50-60 minutes, and in hot foods for up to 50 minutes.
Since they are disposable edible products, we recommend using the spoon only once and consume it afterwards
The minimum shelf life of jegy spoons is currently 9 months, which we will soon be able to extend to 12 months.
Our edible products do not affect the taste of your food. Only when the spoon is nibbled, the delicious flavor unfolds.
Since the cutlery products are exclusively natural and biodegradable ingredients, our products can also be composted in the home garden. The spoon decomposes within 30 days.

Yes, they are safe to use since they are made up of a natural cereal mix of different grains and unrefined sugar. They are also certified safe to consumecomplying to EU standards.
Depending on the cutlery you choose, the flavour varies. We offer three different kinds of cutlery: sweet vanilla, salt, and ketchup flavoured. But don’t worry, the flavour won’t change the taste of your food.
The spoons should be stored in a dry and light-protected place. This helps to preserve the quality of the spoons.
They are mainly made up of organic ingredients such as millet, brown sugar, wheat, refined wheat, and whey protein which has gluten in it. We are currently working on gluten-free options, so stay tuned.
